Bathroom Guardians

Powerful protectors that defend the bathroom realm and keep the peace. They assist Bathroom Pets and help maintain safety within their territory.

CandlePals

Playful magical companions who roam freely through the house. They travel from room to room, spreading light, warmth, and friendship wherever they go.

Elite Spirits

Rare magical beings that appear in later expansions, possessing powerful abilities and deep connections to the Candlelight element.

The Four Elements of Candle Friends

Every Candle Friends card belongs to one of four magical elements plus a fith symbol of the original flame and magical candle. The elements and original flame affect the style and color of each card, helping bring the character's magic to life.

Elements and the original flame do not affect gameplay mechanics — they simply represent the magical nature of each character.

The element of energy and passion.

Fire cards glow with warm reds and burning embers.

The element of flow and calm.

Water cards shimmer with cool blues and misty waves.

🌱 Earth

The element of stability and growth.

The element of motion and freedom.

Wind cards use soft blues, silvers, and swirling air patterns.

How the Game Works

Candle Friends is a simple and strategic collectible card game designed to be easy to learn and fun for players of all ages.

Each player builds a deck of Candle Friends characters and competes to protect their flame.

The Goal

Reduce your opponent's Flame Life to zero.

Players begin with 20 Flame Life.

Game Setup

Each player begins with:

• A shuffled deck

• A starting hand of cards

• 20 Flame Life

Players take turns summoning characters, playing support cards, and battling opponents.

Card Stats

Each character card displays three core attributes:

⚔ Strength

Determines how much attack power a character has.

🛡 Defense

Determines how well a character can block attacks.

❤️ Comfort

Represents emotional strength and resilience.

Mana System

Cards require mana to play.

Mana ranges from 1 to 10, increasing as the game progresses. Stronger characters usually cost more mana to summon.

The Turn Sequence

Each turn follows a simple structure:

1️⃣ Start Turn – Gain mana

2️⃣ Draw Phase – Draw one card

3️⃣ Play Phase – Summon characters or play support cards

4️⃣ Battle Phase – Attack with ready characters

5️⃣ Resolve Damage – Compare Strength vs Defense

6️⃣ End Turn

Characters cannot attack on the same turn they are summoned.
